Many of you have likely received this communication from Mark and Shirley. We are thankful for the Supreme Court’s decision to prevent the enforcement of the OSHA ETS. Elgin will immediately discontinue and no longer enforce the policy announced on Monday, January 10, 2022 to comply with the law, specifically OSHA’s mandate, entitled “COVID-19 VACCINATION, TESTING, AND FACE COVERING POLICY.” Please note due to the increased community spread rates in our area, the face mask/covering requirement remains in effect through at least Friday January 28th, 2022 for the Elgin facility.
