Federal Signal names new Western Regional Sales Manager

ELGIN, Ill. (Aug. 31, 2004) - Federal Signal Environmental Products Group announces Mike Kohn as the new Western Regional Sales Manager.  He will be responsible for direct sales of Guzzler and Jetstream products in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska and Hawaii.

Kohn holds a B.S. degree in Natural Resources from Ohio State University and has 10 years of technical sales experience.

The Federal Signal Environmental Products Group includes Elgin Sweeper, Vactor Manufacturing, Guzzler Manufacturing, Jetstream and Leach.  Federal Signal Corporation is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol FSS.
